Set up your OspreyFX broker account and get your account KYC Verified. 

1a) Click Here then click Sign Up in the top right corner to create your profile. Next, click the link within the verification email from OspreyFX.  When prompted, sign-in to your OspreyFX account. Click on the menu icon (3 vertical lines) in the top right corner. Select Settings. Select Account. Enter Phone Number with country code. The country code must be included. If you are in the US, your country code is 1. Click Update and Verify. Select Security. Toggle tab to Enable 2FA via SMS. Enter code when prompted.

1b) From the Dashboard, click on the menu icon (3 vertical lines) in the top right corner. Select Identity Verification. Complete the Identity Verification. After your Identity Verification has been approved, please proceed with setup below.

1c) Next, make sure that you are KYC verified (Identity Verification) in your Crypto wallet account (Cash app, Kucoin, Crypto.com, Coinbase, etc). Being verified will allow you to make Bitcoin transactions. Do not proceed with setup until Idenity Verification has been approved typically within 24 hours. 

After you have confirmed that you are verified in both OspreyFX and your crypto wallet, proceed to Step II - Create your OspreyFX MT4 Demo and Get Verified. 

To start trading in the forex market, you'll need to first create your OspreyFX MT4 Demo Account.  

2a) Click on Accounts. Select OspreyFX MT4 Demo under Account Type. We recommend selecting 500 for account leverage dropdown. For the Balance dropdown we recommend at least $1k-$10k.

2b) Download Metatrader 4 to your pc or mac. From the site's homepage, click on MT4 & Tools. Select MT4 for Windows or for Mac. Install the setup.exe. Next, download MT4 to your smartphone by searching for Metatrader 4 via the App or Google Play store.

 2c) After creating your Osprey demo account and downloading MetaTrader in the previous steps, open the MetaTrader 4 web terminal on your computer or the MetaTrader 4 app on your smartphone. Under New Account, select Login to Existing Trade Account. Search Osprey-Demo. Enter the MetaTrader login details from the email that you received when you created your MetaTrader 4 demo account. Your login name is the Account No. Your password is the Trader Password. Toggle the Save Password switch on then click Sign in on the top right corner.

Proceed to Step III - Fund your OspreyFX Live account wallet and Live account setup.

Once you have completed Step 2 and are verified in both OspreyFX and your Crypto wallet, you can now fund your OspreyFX wallet.

3a) In your Crypto wallet (Cash Ap, etc.), purchase the equivalent Bitcoin amount that you would like to fund your live account with plus $20-$25 additional to cover gas (bitcoin processing fees). See this link for instructions on how to convert USD to Bitcoin (BTC) in Cash app.

3b) Fund your OspreyFX account wallet with an amount ranging from $50–$5,000+. To fund your OspreyFX account wallet, login to OspreyFX. From the Dashboard, click on the menu icon (three lines top right), then click on Deposit. For Deposit Type drop-down, select Bitcoin (BTC). From the Select a Wallet dropdown, select BTC-BTC 0.00000000. Input into the Amount in BTC field, the Bitcoin amount that you purchased in your crypto wallet in Step 2 above.

3c) Click the green Redirect me to Payments Page tab. Once you are on the Crypto Depsoits - Bitcoin page, Select Copy address below the QR code and paste the address into the address field of your  crypto wallet that you are funding.

Wait about 30 min-1 hour for the Bitcoin transaction to process before proceeding to the next step (Bitcoin processing times may vary at different times).

After your OspreyFX account wallet has been funded, proceed to the next step – Step IV to Create and Setup your OspreyFX Live account.

Only after your initial deposit has been made and Step 3 has been completed in its entirety, login to OspreyFX to create your OspreyFX live MetaTrader account.

4a) From the Dashboard, click the menu icon (three vertical lines) in the top right corner. Next, click on Accounts. Select OspreyFX MT4 ECN under Account Type dropdown. Select USD under Select Currency dropdown. We recommend selecting 500 for the Account Leverage dropdown. Click Create Account.

4b) Next, Open the MetaTrader 4 web terminal on your computer or the Metatrader 4 app on your smartphone. Under New Account, select Login to Existing Trade Account. Search and select Osprey-Live. Enter the MetaTrader login details from the email that you received when you created your MetaTrader 4 live account. Osprey-Live will be listed under the Server Name in the email. Your login name is the Account Number. Your password is the Trader Password. Toggle the Save Password, Switch on, then Click Sign in on the top right corner.

4c) Transfer funds from your OspreyFX account wallet to your live MetaTrader account. Click the menu icon (three lines top right) then click Transfer. Select - Wallet to MetaTrader in the Transfer Type dropdown. Select - Your BTC Amount in the Transfer From dropdown. Select the MT4 ECN option under the Transfer To dropdown. Enter the BTC Amount again in the Amount to Transfer field. Click Transfer. 

Wait 5-10 minutes for the transfer to complete. Once the transfer is complete, your deposit will reflect in the balance section of your live Metatrader 4 Account which can be used to trade on the forex market.
